We do not sell kittens with breeding rights at the moment, sorry. Our kittens may be available now as a pets or show-neuters only at forever loving homes. Sometimes (but very seldom) we sell our kittens for breeding to the well-known reputable breeders sharing the same breeding principles, or placing our kittens locally with the prospective newbies who are mentoring by us.

Lirika cattery's breeding principles

Lirika is the small home-based cattery. All our cats live with us as the free family members sharing our living space. No cages and indoors only. No declawing.

We strive to produce healthy beautiful kittens with the real devonish attitude and appearance. In our breeding program we are focusing mostly on solid and tabby colors, sometimes in combination to white spotting.

Lirika cattery is CFA registered only and never had a registration at any other system, therefore we try to approach to the CFA Devon Rex breed standard in type of our kittens.

We state our cattery is FeLV, FIV clear. Yearly we screen by ultrasound all our cats on genetics diseases (HCM, PKD) and make tests on infections. We use DNA testing of blood group and colors in Veterinary Genetics Laboratory (USA).

Lirika cattery produce just a few litters per year. We prefer to place our kittens locally at approved homes neutered/spayed before they leave our cattery. Before purchase of each kitten we sign the detailed agreement with future owner. Kittens on sale "not for breeding" have a corresponding mark in documents - no exceptions.

But sometimes we place our kittens and loan stud males to the long-time entrusted friends who have the identical breeding policies and have the relative blood lines which work well with the ours.

Kittens leave our home at the age 3-5 months (depending on distance and breeding rights) - each dewormed, ringworm tested by veterinarian, vaccinated and re-vaccinated against of virus infections. Kittens who sold for breeding vaccinated against of rabies and microchipped.

We are experienced in exporting but never shipped our kittens alone by cargo and prefer do not ship in future (in cabin only or being picked up personally).
